Mission Statement
The goal of the Tyler Media Center is to help all students become lifelong readers and effective users of information. We strive to enhance each grade levels’ curriculum and provide a central resource with both electronic and print reference sources for teachers and students.
Library Information
Check Out Policy
K-1 students may check out one book.
2-3 students may check out two books.
4th grade students may check out three books.
5th grade students may check out four books.
Books are due prior to the next library class, however students may renew as many times as needed. They are also encouraged to return books throughout the week to get another.
Overdue Policy
We do not charge fines for overdue books, but students are required to pay for lost or damaged books. Parents will be refunded if the book is found and returned in good condition within the same year.
The National Information Literacy Standards for Library Media Centers
